The Splash - With Miss Raquel
Chief Scenester Miss Raquel hosts the only hosted radio show on Slurpy Radio, “The Splash” She can also be heard giving the dish on the Slurpy Sips. Additionally she hosts “electronica” on bpm:tv four days a week at 8p.m.
The Splash; Wednesdays, 8p.m. and Fridays, 9p.m.
The Splash is a one hour ear-candy show full of information with interviews, news and music. Guests include, DJs, producers, photographers, managers, promoters & industry professionals.
Miss Raquel has been heard on Club246 and Energy 105. Now we have her on Slurpy Radio.
Owner of Scenester Magazine Miss Raquel is also known for organizing events such as, JaXx HouZe – Enchanted Tribal Platoon, Scandal in New York and the infamous Mayhem parties.
Miss Raquel, for the 2nd season will host “electronica” on bpm:tv. Canada's first and only 24/7 dance channel featuring nightlife, fashion, entertainment news, and high energy dance music.
She also writes the “Month in Review” column in bpm:tv’s monthly newsletter, “The Beat” as well as writing the Daily DJ Buzz for bpm:tv’s website.
Miss Raquel has been featured in Fab Magazine, Metro News (Toronto), House Addict, nightlifeinfo.com and appeared in the documentary film, After-hours. She can also be seen on blogtv.ca.
